IS IT SAFE! file shredder help ?
im using file shredder (the programme) and i have clicked shred free disk space , what will do i have to do to get rid of files i have recycled in my recycle bin , it asks me to click the drives i want to wipe (VistaOS,DATA,Removable Disk) which one/ones shall i click? im scared of losing my programmes i have installed on my computer etc
If you are shredding free disk space it is 100% safe to use, it will NOT remove any programs / files / folders, it merely overwrites data previously deleted from the recycle bin.
Select your main drive , which is normally C:
Bear in mind that this process can take several hours to complete, click on Shredder Settings, click Algorithms tab and select Guttman algorithm 35 passes.

I destroyed the files from my hard drive so it is prudent to return to the store?
My hard drive was CRC errors, then I was denied access in full, so I used a disk repair tool to recover all data downloaded and / is deleted from disk. File Shredder me to write on any empty disk space with an algorithm. It's funny, though .. he is 40 GB of disk space to be empty, but says he is used. So, if returned to the store it will be no trace of my data for reimbursement of age or is it?

I think this shit is safe, it is not. Unless you put in a separate unit, and then destroy it when you're done, you stop!
