Why did J.P. Morgan Donate 4.6 million dollars to the NYPD?
‘JPMorgan Chase recently donated an unprecedented $4.6 million to the New York City Police Foundation.
The gift was the largest in the history of the foundation and will enable the New York City Police Department to strengthen security in the Big Apple. The money will pay for 1,000 new patrol car laptops, as well as security monitoring software in the NYPD’s main data center.’

Do you think it’s a coincidence that JP Morgan, a major Wall Street finance institution, made the donation in the same period with all the protests going on in NYC about the policies and practices of the Wall Street institutions.
Many Americans are outraged about how the financial institutions reaped all the benefits of the allegedly criminal acts during the bubble and then got all the benefits of the hundreds of $Billions in taxpayers funds … never paying it back and never facing justice or even consequences of their actions… while at the same time, more Americans than ever face foreclosure and loss from the subsequent deep and lasting recession and unemployment.
Could it be that JP Morgan would like curry a little more friendliness from NYC’s finest in a time where some folks are so fed up with what they see as larceny on maybe the largest scale ever — the “too big to fail” scale… people are so fed up that some are willing to take to the streets.
