Data Recovery Deleted Files
deleted files and data recovery?

i realise that when i delete a file from windows, it just deletes the reference and not the actual data itself. however, say i have 1 hard-drive partitioned into 2 logical drives (call them partition A and partition B). i am using partition A. i have deleted a file the standard way and then filled up partition A until there was no remaining space in the drive. will the deleted data from partition A be “squeezed” into the available space in partition B?

No, it will not. The best way to recover your data is using recovery program, I used one call “asoftech data recovery” before, it’s quite easy to use, you do not need to have technical background to operate the software. Here you can download the software

I recently accidentally deleted some files “permanently” and used a data recovery program to get them back…

but about 1/4 of them are damaged. Is there a program that can try to look for fragments of these files and fix them?

hi mate,

After deleting them, did you install anything else?

If do, there are some chanses that they are lost, but dont lose hope.

Try retriving them with the tool that can be found in tune up utilities 2006.

best luck
