What is the best way to sell hosting service for business applications software companies?
If I have a data center where you can configure necessary servers and software, which is the best way to sell the hosting service where I will manage and support business applications for enterprises? Basically, I will be the company's application outsourcing and off-load of work in client companies. I have planned to host business applications such as accounting software Human Resources / Payroll, CRM, ERP, etc. As a professional application hosting company, I'll be able to accommodate customer applications more efficiently by reducing and the cost.

Set Up A Data Center

The data centers of Northern Virginia
Northern Virginia supplier of data center, such as CoreSite and Switch and Data (Equinix) in Reston, Equinix Dupont and Ashburn Fabre technology, and other providers in the region as Savvis and AT & T will provide enterprise data centers well connected, Powerful and safe, without using the enterprise space, power and human resources to maintain the data center infrastructure.
Many times, Ashburn and Reston centers provided data increased security, scalability, power density and efficiency energy company in the home data center. By choosing one of these sites before third-party data centers or data Ashburn Reston, most businesses have access to a much better environment for the heart of the business (ICT infrastructure), while saving money cost, more effective management of staff, networking opportunities, and a greener environment in general computer.
North outsourced data center in Virginia contribute greatly to protect critical data and confidential company inter alia, an essential attribute for entities large companies and government agencies operating in and around the capital. With most facilities provided site security 24 hours, locking cabinets / Cages, at least – some with locks, biometric readers, card access and other controls, a company team is difficult to handle unless you have direct access to the data area or cage center "key" for the firm itself. In addition, certain third parts of northern Virginia supply electricity data centers and redundant cooling systems, providing greater reliability and maximum availability, ensuring business continuity.
In summary, the selection of a data center or third installation Reston Ashburn is similar to a business decision rather smart to keep most of the deployment of a company at home. Companies can deploy quickly, adding the demand for space and power, you can choose several connectivity providers (carriers / ISP – if the carrier neutral) reap the benefits of an environment of lower PUE data center, and sleep well at night knowing your company's heart is safe and lights.
Price is always a concern when choosing a data center outsourcing services provider in North VA. Companies in space is not easy to compare "apples to apples." Instead, you can bury the expensive additions in areas outside the base rent or interconnection. Some providers of an "all-in cost of the cabinet may be just the opposite. Therefore, are encouraged to go into details an agreement to ensure that you have the total cost of ownership to the last penny. With suppliers enjoying the incredible demand with supply limited market, the price tends to lean more often than not.
However, at the end of the day, even with the central problems of price data and comparing data center, the end result is a substantial net gain in the election of a third party supplier in Northern network of VA data rather than at home
One last thing that may or may not be of interest to a buyer potential for data centers is the availability of services. services in Northern VA data center providers may offer different levels of "services". From a hands-off, "Run your business – we'll keep it safe, temperature and proper" for all management services and / or services in the cloud, the options of all kinds. Please note, those who offer a complete service management can take advantage of the lock, a buyer potential in an exclusive contract to buy their services if they are needed. There is less relative bargaining power of data centers and providers of Reston Ashburn data center in Northern VA network of data with multiple clients within your MSP data center to a potential buyer might choose. However, the basic "remote hands" services are a good thing to have in case something comes after hours or when staff do simply can not reach the data center. Remote is a service that allows customers to send a trouble ticket and perform technical onsite work for the client. This includes grassroots efforts, not as server resets other configurations and troubleshooting.
In this day and age, budget cuts and IT staff for more hats than ever, it is logical to go to a northern Virginia data center outsourcing. Leave expert data center to do what they do best, while the allocation of valuable resources for areas that need it.

Please explain the difference in SAN and NAS …?
Ok, I understand that this is a storage area network and a joint networked storage. Why do we choose one or the other from a business perspective? NAS is easier to configure? Who cares if that's all a Unix or Windows environment before? For example, CIFS or NFS to make a difference? I heard that San is its outcome and NAS takes over. Is this true? Systems, we are talking BIG – Information Data Center, no computers at home. I'm kind of business (with a technology fund) trying to get my head around storage systems for large companies – and up to 200TB (above a few Bp!). I took some books, but have not been able to reap the profits on each other, and under what circumstances could choose one or the other. Thoughts?
I am not an expert on the SAN, but here's my opinion – are not used for the same thing. In contrast, NO can be used for the same thing … NAS is to share the entire disk space on multiple machines on the LAN. SAN storage the rapid exchange (array, tape library, etc.) for mulitple servers at the back. So that replaces SAN NAS is a bit difficult. NAS just means connected to the network. So put some units in one device and connect to the network. It becomes a file server on the network like any other, with all the limitations of any file server on the LAN (like bandwidth bottleneck). The good thing about using a NAS device rather than a low installation cost (in time, at least) and minor maintenance lucky because there are many problems with Windows, such as updates, patches, corrupted files, blue screens, hardware failures, etc. In general, NAS device is reliable and consistent, and once it is created, it just works. However, do not provide access solid disk, servers needed. Taking the example of the data center, consider a transaction server – thousands of sales to come through and database to update all information reliably and quickly. Must be sent via the LAN? Just do not serve the same purpose as a SAN. SAN in my experience, is used to share the connection to a hard drive large-scale one or more servers. In the same way you want to access a large external USB hard drive on a table (how? can not!), it is possible that, as in a data center to buy a box RAID huge and a server to connect more units. Is access to the system level, have no access to shared files. Is this level of "hard" servers to see and use this connection. I hope that makes sense. Say you need a file sharing large variety of databases and SQL Server. Since I have a dedicated server for each goal, but the internal drives are too small in both. Saying that space is limited or expensive cabinets, you name it. So I have a big cabinet 8U full hard drives. No SAN, the only server that can take advantage of these units is SCSI cable connected to high speed. typical scenario of an array is 1:1 external rack mount server. When you use a SAN, the servers can use other parts of the matrix. NOT the same parties, of course, because it would be all kinds of problems and lock files velocity descends. But the same dwelling, divided logically – a server, all the others. Now you can buy more storage space in a great device and attach from different servers in a fast Fibre Channel (hard drive speed) connection to other servers, using economies of scale (More shares in a firm cost less than most units of two or more cabinets). It also allows the flexibility to change the access server matrix, leaving the other alone. Maybe a year from now, that SQL Server is booming, but the file server must be reused and a Web application server is used instead. A simple cable exchange with the Web application server is all you need to add network storage. No hard drive necessary changes disordered. In short – SAN not be seen by end users in the network. No one in his office "Saves the SAN" because it is transparent to them. It is a server resource, not an action for the LAN. It is, however, and NAS file sharing and write directly on it. Hope that helps outline what both are and why they are different.
